The Southern Nevada API Queer Society (SNAPIQS) has been giving voice and presence to all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions (SOGI/E or LGBT*) individuals of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American descent in Southern Nevada.
We were organized:
- To raise and address issues affecting all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions (SOGI/E) Asian Pacific Islander (API) community through a social and democratic political process and via community activism.
- To bring together our families and allies to advance equality for all.
- To be seen, heard, and celebrated.
SNAPIQS is governed by an active board of committed volunteers according to the bylaws of the organization. We encourage you to get involved. You can support our efforts by becoming a member, making a donation, or volunteering your time and talents!

The Southern Nevada Asian Pacific Islander Queer Society (SNAPIQS) is NOT a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization or 501(c)(4) nonprofit social welfare organization. However, we are working forward toward obtaining this status in the future.
However, SNAPIQS cannot continue its mission without your help and donation.
SNAPIQS hosts community building and advocacy events to bring together gay, bisexual, queer, and transgender Asian and Pacific Islander (API) folks to meet new friends and build community through visibility, support, social justice, and action.
We have teamed up with other community organizations to provide a host of other educational workshops and panels on topics various topics.
