The Southern Nevada Asian Pacific Islander Queer Society (SNAPIQS) serves all Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions (SOGI/E or LGBT*) in the Southern Nevada region. Through social and cultural activities, education, mentorship, awareness, and advocacy, we aim to create an inclusive, affirming, and empowering community.
SNAPIQS became a federation member of the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA) + Nevada Minority Health & Equity Coalition (NMHEC) since 2020.

⭐️ COVID EVENTS LIMITATION ⭐️
Research increasingly shows that racial and ethnic minorities are disproportionately affected by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the United States.
The health and safety of our community are always of the utmost importance to Southern Nevada Asian Pacific Islander Queer Society (SNAPIQS), as well as creating environments where everyone can feel comfortable coming together.
With this in mind, we are now requiring either proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours before entering any event(s) or proof of vaccination in order to attend SNAPIQS event(s).
We ask that you please bring a copy of your vaccination card or negative test results and be prepared to provide it at the event entrance. A photo of your negative test results on your phone will be accepted. If you are planning on getting vaccinated, we encourage you to do so before the event(s).
